Go Share the Lord!

Leadership Training for Christ (LTC) is offered as an extra-curricular activity for our kids. Some years they choose to participate in Bible Bowl instead.

LTC encompasses third through twelfth grades. A convention is held in Phoenix over Easter weekend where children are able to demonstrate skills they have learned in several areas.

The work of the youth is evaluated against a written standard for each event. There are several events from which each student has the option to choose. For instance, sign language, group singing, Scripture reading, drama, puppets, website design and Bible Bowl are just a few from the list.

There are also pre-convention projects that students can prepare and send ahead of time. Some of these include: Bible teaching on video, radio minute message, service challenge, and Christian writing and art. In total, there are 26 different events to choose from—14 take place at the convention and 12 are completed before convention.

Bible Bowl is a competition held annually. A particular passage of the Bible is chosen as the course of study. Kids learn the assigned Scriptures and compete with kids from other churches in our area in a spring tournament held in San Diego to win awards and scholarships.
