Uplift is our big weekly event.  Uplift is designed for 8-12 graders.  At Uplift, our goal is to teach and reach any kid that walks through the door, whether the teen has been in church his whole life or it is his first time in a church.  We desire to be a welcoming, engaging, and safe place for every teen that comes to Uplift.  The activities and lessons that take place each week are designed to bring our teens into relationships with Christ and each other.

Each week we have food, games, worship, and a lesson.

Right now, we are doing a series entitled “Storytellers.”  In this series, we are looking at stories from the Bible that can change our relationship with God.  Stories imprint a picture on our minds.  We desire for our teens to have God’s Story imprinted on their minds.  We are very excited about this new series, and it will continue until summer.

If your child is still in seventh grade and you would like him to attend, we welcome him once the following two things have been accomplished:

1. Both parent and child attend the first meeting together to see if both are comfortable with the atmosphere.  This is crucial for the learning experience.  If either parent or child is uncomfortable, we ask them to wait until the child enters eighth grade.

2. Contact Dan about your child attending Uplift to give him a heads up about which week you and your child will attend.
