Barry & Shari Murrell serve in the Philippines and have concentrated their efforts on teaching and training the native Filipino churches to become self-sustaining. They conduct Bible studies on an ongoing basis at their headquarters in Cebu City, along with other outreaches.
Having mostly grown up on the mission field with their parents, all four of their children now serve full time with them. Two are married--Rachel and Clint Robinstein and John and Gina Murrell. Their two unmarried children--Sara and Amy--also devote full time to the evangelistic outreach, the Bible Study Center.
In connection with our 2008 theme of "Go Share the Lord," three of our members--Alpha Nolasco, John Begin and Allan Lumagui--spent a week with the Murrells in Cebu City. The Murrells have also shared at our church, and recently Clint & Rachel visited with us. Our church has provided support for the Murrells for several years.
